Compression Springs

Compression Springs are type helical spring can either exert force or resist a compressive force. The spring rate is in most cases, linear with the amount of deflection they incur. Compression springs are one of the most common types of springs. However, in order to fit and function properly when cycled, a great deal of engineering still must be performed.

Peninsula Spring has years of experience in meeting our customers’ space constraints, force/deflection and fatigue requirements. We know how a spring will perform and are able to estimate fatigue life when the design pushed to the limits of a material’s capabilities.

Compression Spring Applications

Due to their adaptability, compressed springs can be used in numerous types of applications, some of which include:

  • Medical devices
  • Satellites/Space applications
  • Electronics
  • Precision instruments and tools
  • Industrial equipment
  • Pens or notebooks
  • Models/Toys
Benefits of Working With Peninsula Spring

Peninsula Spring is an experienced manufacturer of all types of springs since 1976. We can provide you with more engineering, prototyping and manufacturing solutions than ordinary custom metal stamping companies.
